An Audi TT and Subaru WRX

Had the chance to take some pics of a few done up cars. Started in the country side, and ended up at the Toronto lake shore. Got to use some wide angle lenses, tried some reflector tricks and my new Manfrotto tripod.

Enjoy!

Close Up Fun

I decided to test out my new lens. Shooting in RAW and at f/2.8 for the most part, I got some pretty cool close up images (Turtle and Flower). Than I noticed some cool patterns in my sink as the water was dripping in, so I pulled out the camera again, bumped up the shutter, and started snapping away, took about five hundred photos, and got about 8 or 9 good ones, timing was tricky.

Motorcycle Club

Did a shoot for @TheDailyVen over the last weekend. We had to get through 6 different looks in 2 hours, efficiency was definitely the name of the game!

Here are some samples from the shoot.

Snakes on a Plane....I mean Plain

A Plain White Backdrop....Ok Ok...that was a bad joke, but here are some cool snake photos. My friend actually produced one of the snakes through breeding, he is the only person to have that colour morph!

Movie Time

Ok, so they are not a movie, but this is some video I shot for the Canadian Collegiate Bass Anglers at the Spring Fishing Show that happened Feb 17 -20 2012. It was a great time, got to talk to a lot of great people, and find out what some of the people that I will be fishing against and with will be throwing this year.

First clip is Dave Chong talking with CCBAF President about the importance of youth anglers

Last clip is CCBAF President with the founders of NPS announcing the partnership they have just formed.

I have a few more videos, and some photos coming in the next week. Hope you enjoy.

Shore House Bay

Every so often you find a place that becomes ingrained in your memory. You could have some one bring you there, or get directions from someone. Or, like us, you could find it by accident.

Shore House Bay is one of those spots for us.

Shore House Bay

We found this place one our May fishing trip in 2011. Looking for a spot have a barbecue, we stopped on a causeway, and noticed panfish surfacing in the bay. We rigged up, and started fishing. Mo was throwing a ultra-light rig when a 18 inch pike decided it was meal time. Just as quickly as he appeared to us, he turned and cut the line. Shortly after, Adrian, who was about 25 feet down shore, hooked into a pike. Adrian had a leader tied on, and landed the fish, along with Mo's rig still in his mouth. Must have been a hungry pike.

From that point on, Shore House will always be in my mind.

As the sun started to set, we finished cleaning after dinner and had just enough time to enjoy the sunset and the stars that only the north will show you. Thankfully I had my tripod and I was able to get some great twilight shots.

Passing Car

Can't wait to go back in 2012....or maybe we will find some new memories up north.
