Just a few photos from the past year.

Spent a lot of time with a camera in my hand doing all sorts of different styles. From shooting in the Dominican Republic, to time on the water in a boat. Some editorial work and all sorts of portrait work from wedding to school photos. Its been a busy year, with a steep learning curve, and there is just over a month left this year with a lot to think about. Here are some of my favourite photos from the past year.

Canadian Collegiate Championship

Spent the day on the water photographing and filming the Championship event. We ran into some challenges but over all it was a lot of fun. Locating the anglers was a major task, it was difficult to find the anglers on such a large body of water, and having all sorts of islands and reefs at time a little nerve wracking. Aside from that, once we found the anglers, getting close enough to the anglers with out interfering with them was a whole different ball game. Video was a challenge all on its own!  Here are some photos from the event.

More Fishing Tournament Photos

This time I had the opportunity to fish the NGTA Georgian Bay event. The NGTA club is part of the Canadian Bass Anglers Federation, this is my second year as a member and I must say that it is a lot of fun. It gives you the chance to meet some awesome people, learn a lot about fishing and the lakes, and have a lot of fun on and off the water.

An Audi TT and Subaru WRX

Had the chance to take some pics of a few done up cars. Started in the country side, and ended up at the Toronto lake shore. Got to use some wide angle lenses, tried some reflector tricks and my new Manfrotto tripod.

Close Up Fun

I decided to test out my new lens. Shooting in RAW and at f/2.8 for the most part, I got some pretty cool close up images (Turtle and Flower). Than I noticed some cool patterns in my sink as the water was dripping in, so I pulled out the camera again, bumped up the shutter, and started snapping away, took about five hundred photos, and got about 8 or 9 good ones, timing was tricky.

Motorcycle Club

Did a shoot for @TheDailyVen over the last weekend. We had to get through 6 different looks in 2 hours, efficiency was definitely the name of the game!
